Fr Alexander (Junior) Kattakayam, Prior General, initiated the preliminary steps to start a Monastery in the house and a plot of land, which was generously donated by Mr Mathai Thakidiyel. The house was canonically erected on March 12, 1938, and on February 8, 1942, it was raised to the status of a Monastery. The Little Flower Aspirants' House was started in the Monastery on May 21, 1976. On March 28, 2009 the foundation stone was laid for a new building for the Aspirants’ House, which was blessed on October 2, 2010. In June 2024, this building has been transformed into Little Flower Boarding House. A primary school was started in 1927 and was upgraded to Middle School in 1940 and to High School in 1962. The HSS section was inaugurated on August 26, 2000 and the new school building was blessed on February 07, 2002.
